Recipe for Chickpea Hummus

Recipe for Chickpea Hummus

- 300 g chickpeas
- ½ lemon, squeezed
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp tahini (sesame paste)
- 1 Greek-style yogurt
- 3 tbsp Guénard sesame oil
- 2 pinches cayenne pepper
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Paprika

Preparation instructions:

Add the drained chickpeas to your mixer. The hummus will be much better if you peel your chickpeas first. This step takes a little time, but the chickpea skin can be easily removed by gently pressing each chickpea between your fingers.
Gently blend.

Add the tahini, lemon juice, garlic cloves (sprout removed) and Greek-style yogurt, and blend again. Add 3 tablespoons of sesame oil and olive oil until you achieve the desired texture. Once your humus is smooth and creamy, it is ready to eat.

Serve in a bowl, drizzle with sesame oil and decorate with a few chickpeas and a touch of paprika.
