- 250g lentils
- 3 tomatoes
- ½ red onion
- 1/2 lemon
- Guénard 100% virgin sesame seed oil
- Soy sauce
Start by cooking your lentils in a big pot of salted, boiling water. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. The lentils should be cooked, but still slightly firm.
Meanwhile, cut your tomatoes into little cubes and finely dice the red onion.
Cut the halloumi into slices of around 1cm thick, then grill them in a pan with no added oil or butter, just 1 minute on each side. Then cut each slice into smaller chunks.
Combine 4 tablespoons of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, the juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of honey in a mixing bowl.
Stir thoroughly and pour this dressing over your salad before serving.
NB: Taste before adding any salt, since the soy sauce is already very salty.
